Over 10,000 Ancient Egyptian Artifacts
The Sutro Library in San Francisco is home to the impressive Sutro Egyptian Collection, which consists of more than 10,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts, including papyrus scrolls, statues, and jewelry. The collection was amassed by Adolf Sutro, a San Francisco businessman and collector, during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Visitors to the collection can also take advantage of its educational resources, including reference materials and a research library. The collection is open to the public and offers guided tours upon request.
